Magia

Two mixed media objects called “Magia femminile” and “Magia maschile” are dedicated to the magic of love. These objects were created in a residency, where the artist explored more than 500 years old Italian family’s heritage. While exploring, Katya found an old magic book, where she got magic schemes that became the central part of the works. In these objects, Katya aims to visually deconstruct sacred feeling of love, and show it as a clear public domain – like it is not so complicated for applying.
